Takin’ It to the Streets is a festival that provides a platform for artists who identify as Muslim and other socially conscience and spiritually grounded individuals to express their talents in a free and positive environment.

This year, we’re reaching across the world to showcase some of the most diverse artists imaginable! From the Qawalli devotional music of Pakistan and the Mediterranean sounds of Andalusia, to the boomin’ B-boys of Gaza, Takin’ It to the Streets is bringing it all right here to Chicago.

Whatever your likes, there’s enough talent at Streets to give you a taste of exactly what you’re looking for and more. At Streets, expect the unexpected; we’ve got big-timers and hidden jewels, get-downs and lift-ups. With so many artists, the hardest thing at Streets is making a choice. To make it even harder, there are four stages to choose from:
