Streets 2010, in collaboration with The Old Town School of Folk Music and Chicago Arabesque, presents Orchestre Chabab Al Andalous from Rabat, Morocco. This large ensemble has toured the world, performing the musical repertoire of Andalucia during the period of the Moorish empire in Spain, which has been preserved in Morocco for more than 500 years. Special guests Brahim Fribgane Berber Project featuring Abderahman Boutat & Ahmed Sahel will open the show.  Both artists will also perform at Takin’ It to the Streets on June 19th in Marquette Park.
